Rear airbag suspension - do they normally lose a little air

Hi all -

I noticed a year ago when I had my vehicle brand new sitting in my garage that the next morning the rear end of the vehicle looked like it had noticeably sunk. Fast forward to today, I decided to check this again because it looks like it definitely sinks (squats) if the vehicle has sat all day.

So I tested this by going into the rear tailgate and pressing the button in the cargo area to raise/lift the vehicle to its maximum height. I then marked a spot from the passenger rear wheel-well trim to a spot on the passenger rear tire. I let the car sit throughout the day and sure enough the vehicle has already dropped/lowered almost a full inch, meaning it has lost its air hold.

Could someone else please try this out and let your vehicle sit overnight to see if it holds the air exactly where you left it at the fully raised height position or if it too also starts to naturally lose some of the air it was holding?

I’m sure my Disco’s rear suspension used to drop slightly if left in normal height. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Vehicles on air suspension shouldn't drop at all overnight, beyond minor variations due to changes in air temperature. Significant change such as the OP describes indicates that there's a leak in the system. Darren
