2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black

EGR Valve replacement

Hi,
Anybody any idea of the labour time (dealer) for replacement of EGR Valve?
And cost of valve?

Replacement EGR Valve

Greetings,

Thought it was about time I joined your most useful and at times entertaining site..............

I need to replace the EGR valve at around 33000 miles a couple of weeks ago. Purchased from the main dealers at a cost of £97.28 inc Vat for valve plus both gaskets.

Labour time was around two hours and had to take into account working around some of the plumming connected to the air con.

Hope this is of some use.

paid 75 plus postage for my egr from main dealer found on ebay. drove it into the workshop aand 45 mins later was driving back out. would expect a dealer to take 2 to 3 hours. svx tdci (project)
