ROKK MINI mounts?

Anyone have any experience with these mounts?

I'm after a sturdy phone mount... I made a bracket (for my Td5 dash) which gives me a nice flat surface to mount to...

So, I was wondering if I got the "Rokk mini surface mount", would the "Rokk Mini Universal Phone Mount - RL-509" clip straight on to it? or do I need the angle adjustment thingy inbetween these two items?

I don't need any adjustment... my dash bracket is the correct angle for me, I just really need the phone mount fitted straight onto it, but without butchering the expensive and snazzy mount, I don't think there's a way to fit it, unless anyone knows better?

Well, I ordered the full ROKK phone mount, and bloody hell it's a sturdy bit of kit

Yes costs £80 (but, with different mounting fixtures you can swap the "arm" and the "clamp" to another vehicle in seconds) and also get numerous different device mounts for it.

It's a sturdy as a brick sh!t house. grab the phone clamp and there's only about 3~4mm movement, if that. really good quality.

The UK importers don't do any deals but the chap there just said to me to look on ebay for the best price. Which I did. Came in a shade over £80.

Yes, a lot for a phone mount, but its quite versatile, can swap the mounting clamp for a pad holder or other things, and the bases clip off too, so can easily swap between vehicles.

I just like the sturdyness of it. no wobble at all, nor the phone slipping out.
