A hungover purchase sees me needing to move this;

Do you have a towbar on the Defender? Borrow a trailer? Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

It was delivered yesterday by a cracking chap my other half used to move sofa earlier in the year;
![]() Click image to enlarge Annoyingly the seller ommitted the fact the frame is somewhat S shaped despite my questions. ![]() ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge Still, with a ram and pump rebuild I think it'll be more than adequate for my needs. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread Series 2 109" Series 1 80" |

No at all, I paid £150 in the knowledge that it would need the ram re-sealing.
It actually needs the pump re-sealing too which is a little annoying but, not the end of the world. The bent frame is bit of a nuisance though, I think I'll probably get some new but, heavier gauge flat bar and make a new lower frame, perhaps a bit taller too. All of that said, it's a British made press which could easily be 3 times as old as me so i'm glad to have it. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread Series 2 109" Series 1 80" |

A good buy at that, as it will last a lot longer than the modern Chinese stuff
