Collected my new roof tent yesterday

Impulse buy on Ebay - a Hannibal hard shell roof tent complete with hannibal rack for a 110.

Went to collect yesterday. Was going to take the 90 but decided the roof was so high I would struggle to get it off at the other end. So I took my car and strapped the whole thing to the roof rack. The guys I collected it from were a bit incredulous but we got it on, lashed down and made it from Coventry to home in Wiltshire no problem.

Outside the shell was a bit grubby so wasn't too sure how good it would be so opened it up tentatively. Well, I recon it has never been used. The canvas is totally unmarked and everything inside is also immaculate. You can still smell the fibreglass.

Very happy. All I need now is a 110 to mount the roof rack on

Yes! Wasn't 100% when I collected it as the whole package was still quite expensive but having seen the condition of it and the fact that a 110 Hannibal rack just sold in a matter of hours on Ebay for almost 1300 I am very happy.

Off to look at a 110 on Sunday as well so happy days.
