I had exactly the same leak, was clean looking diesel drips initially so I changed the fuel pressure regulator gaskets. The drips then just stayed oil coloured like yours.... traced it back to the back of the rocker cover so I changed that gasket. I hoped at that point the drips would stop but they haven't. However the car no longer drips on the floor it just always has a drip hanging there. I'm now thinking its possibly the back of the sump gasket? But I did recently change that when I checked my oil pump bolt, I'm just wondering if it didn't seat properly at the back. Either that or it's residual oil coming out of my saturated engine covers.

I think it's pretty common to have a bit of weeping oil here around the join (see below for an image of my TD5 2006 taken last wkd) and I have replaced the gasket here after rebuilding my gearbox 4-5 years ago. But more concerning if you have a steady leak as mine doesn't really drip oil.
Have you checked the oil that leaking? Is it engine oil/gearbox oil? Or maybe even fuel with dirt in it? |

Land Rover, oil leak. Kind of rolls off the tongue.
As in “I’ve got a Defender 110 Oil Leak” perhaps it should have been a model derivative. |

had leakage on the drive for ages from sump area - eventually had it checked at local 4x4 garage and they informed me that the sump was perforated . At first I didn't believe it but they changed the sump and no leakage now.

Mine looked like that - oil was leaking from where the injector harness exits the head - the two O rings had gone flat - fitted new O rings and some silicone and (fingers crossed) all better. As it leaked out the fan blew it all down the side of the block etc.
