It’s delayed, can’t order it here in the U.K. until September and deliveries won’t be until 2021.

Was told early part of the year that I would have it mid-2020. That ship sailed.
Actually called to follow up recently and told told around March 2021. |

It beggars belief. JLR knew when they were going to be killing off the old Defender. It's not as if it was a surprise. The factory didn't burn down and no earthquake took out the production line.
How on earth have they got in this position? The replacement should have been ready to go immediately after the last one left Solihull. How can it take another 18 months to bring the 90 out? An absolute farce Somewhere, in some boardroom, I bet there are some very stressed people? If there isn't, and JLR are just coasting along, I am afraid all hope has gone for them. |

Back to the drawing board over the rear seat system and I suspect that they have been stung by the fact that there was no PHEV at launch and now they have supply issues with the RRS and FFRR PHEV systems and delays well into next year for those with some people who ordered RRS PHEV back in the winter getting very cheesed off. The PHEV’s are also really important in helping them reach their corporate emissions numbers Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

That makes a lot of sense, Tim with regards to the delay to the 90.

Poor show. Another nail in the coffin for some with an order for one.
I can see them canning it completely looking at the poor numbers of orders 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Three door passenger cars are just a pain to live with.
A commercial makes sense, if the floor was fully flat which the 90 is not. Maybe JLR have just treated the 90 as a vanity project to gauge interest. So in that respect it could well be killed off. It should have been available to buy from day one. The fact it wasn't speaks volumes...... |

I am in the camp that is hoping they are re-thinking the back seat access and the split level load are with the seats folded down. I can't be the only one who has contacted Land Rover to question these two items on the 90. At this point, would you even want a car that's a 2020? Better to wait for a "2021". I don't think they could not bring it to market, especially since the Bronco and Jeep are offered in 2 door variants.

Commercial does have a flat floor. It’s not getting killed off, it wasn’t supposed to be available until mid 2020, LR brought it forward to February but even then I was still looking at December 2020 January 2021 for delivery. |

I think it has just dawned on them that three door vehicles are no longer popular with the vast majority of the car buying public. I love my 90 but in reality it is just a toy for me. A five door 110 is much more practical for the average family. Defender 90XS SW

Seeing as nobody can order a 90 how do you know they are poor numbers? Or binning the whole range? If the 90 was binned then I can’t see me taking a 110. £50k is more than I want to spend on this car. |
