The contract on my sim in velar ran out in February, haven’t bothered to replace it. In 2 years I used 1GB of data, it was a preloaded sim with 24GB valid for 24 months. All it means now is I don’t get traffic updates and can’t do over the air updates which doesn’t bother me as LR have withdrawn the last one due to bugs, not that I’m surprised.

I assume LR now supply data sims? Doubt I’ll use it though.

Mine is on O2 from the dealer, wifi is not enabled, so no wifi hotspot.

I use my D5 wifi all the time, as do most of my passengers. We find the car wifi more reliable for signal than phone data. Maps are up dated and as the car is 'connected' the search facility on the sat nav is great. 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

I take it that is just down to your personal choice?

Now?
It was the dealer's showroom car, I went in when they reopened and bought it.

It tells you in the iGuide how to set it all up if your car has the hotspot and WiFi - mine doesn’t have it as far as I can see but it has a SIM for the over the air updates anyway. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

My bad as I thought it was standard?

"The availability of Hotspot depends on the market and the specification of the vehicle."

So what spec or options do you need to have it?
