Australia 2002 Defender 110 Td5 SW Alpine White
Rust seems to be a big issue and will affect values. I'm lucky here in Western Australia. My 2002 Td5 110 is rust-free and with fairly low mileage at 238,000kms (app. 150,000 miles). Having said that the oil cooler just went, fortunately only 60 miles from home, not halfway to Ayres Rock on a red dirt road (that's next year!).
I paid $22,000 for it which is approx 12k GBP. Exceptional value for such a robust and strong vehicle.

It is, if you get a good one. Many are unfairly criticised for being unreliable when they’ve had twenty years of abuse with minimal maintenance.

England 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Belize Green
Just recently had agreed value of £15.500k on insurance renewal which is what I paid for it a few years back. 2004, 90 Csw, 96k but in excellent condition throughout.
