Heated Seat Wiring Runs
Hi all,

I have a pair of heated Recaro seats on order and now need to turn my thoughts to running the loom. It's a '93 so no existing loom. Im planning to put the switches in my mud stuff dash but its just a case of running the wires from the battery box to the dash. I've investigated before and found no obvious way of running cabling between the 2; have I missed something or is it a case of bodging it?

I'm going to use a loom from mobile centre if that's makes a difference.

I had a similar issue when fitting my Raptor dash. I ended up running some multi-core cable from the battery box out through grommet that the earth cable comes in, along the top of the chassis leg and up the outside of the bulkhead by the heater box. I then went along the top of the bulkhead to where the speedo cable comes in through a gromet in the bulkhead, I followed this in to behind the instrument cluster and then along the back of the dash to behind the raptor dash.

Not too bad but I didn’t want to keep doing it so running multi-core means I have spares wires as and when I add more switches.
