Hi, most people seem to recommend around 6mm to be the time to change MT tyres, if the performance in mud is important.
They'd be fine on the road for a few more mm, but won't claw their way through mud very well. |

Anything more than 50% worn is pretty useless in mud. Sell them on to a cheapskate and buy some new ones if off road grip is important! ---
