Have to say I'm impressed more and more with each video on the scale of operations. For some reason I never thought it to be so global and mass produced, and more of a couple lads in a shed sorta deal. Probably have the original pub video to blame for that

I am liking this more and more. I bought my first car in 1990 and it was a Land Rover turbo diesel and I have never had anything other than a Land Rover. I think the Puma is a fine vehicle but if Solihull had put that much effort into the Puma as is going into the Grenadier think where we would be now. I know the cost of buying a Defender would have increased but people are paying a lot more for the current Defender. I thought I would never leave the Puma fold but come launch of the Grenadier in 2022,if the finances can be stretched and I am happy with the interior etc I can see myself trading in the Puma against one of these. Heresey? Well maybe but it is pressing all of the right buttons. That water ingress testing has me smitten! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I'm not sure about that. The load guard seems to have it's upper fixing in the area of that black square, that resembles a speaker. They may be built in accessory fixing points, just as they have done for the outside of the vehicle. The squares above the b pillar would allow fitting of a load guard behind the driver/front passenger. If they are interior fixing points for load guards, bulkheads or shelf systems, then Ineos really have thought things through and planned it well. |

Yep, one of those vehicles that you can name in your head but cannot spell! Highly capable but not practical as an every day vehicle. Right I'll try, is it a Pinzgeur? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

You may well be right. 
It does show an understanding of the vehicle requirements that goes with having an owner who really has used these vehicles day in day out. Much better to listen to people who use the vehicle rather than rely on so called "professional" designers who in reality are a couple of years out of uni and understand little about the brand identity. |
