Personally i have opted for a soft front mounted genuine A bar, i,ve dangled a pair of LIGHTFORCE 170 STRIKER spots under this on the original mounting brackets and i think this looks pretty original whilst at the same time trying not to make it look cheap, if you know what i mean............................
If you have a roof rack then this would be the ideal place to stick X4 decent lamps ? if not try and detract from the tubular steel brackets that somehow attach to the gutters ? and take the weight and the driving forces of 70 - 80 MPH winds, I have seen some fixed to the front bumper ? At the end of the day the choice is yours, DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

If your talking Fog Lamps you will be limited by law.
I think you will find you cant have them on the a bar. spot lights are fine. Mike |

Chaky thanks for your reply, but as Mike says the law dictates the mounting height etc.,so just wondered what people had done. 2.4 90 XS

Sorry mate i thought you meant Spot Lamps !
I have seen the rectangular ones mounted low underneath the bumper but as stated above they dont last long ! They do look quite good though ! DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |
