Personally i have opted for a soft front mounted genuine A bar, i,ve dangled a pair of LIGHTFORCE 170 STRIKER spots under this on the original mounting brackets and i think this looks pretty original whilst at the same time trying not to make it look cheap, if you know what i mean............................

If you have a roof rack then this would be the ideal place to stick X4 decent lamps ? if not try and detract from the tubular steel brackets that somehow attach to the gutters ? and take the weight and the driving forces of 70 - 80 MPH winds,

I have seen some fixed to the front bumper ?

At the end of the day the choice is yours, DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN

If your talking Fog Lamps you will be limited by law.

I think you will find you cant have them on the a bar.

spot lights are fine. Mike

Chaky thanks for your reply, but as Mike says the law dictates the mounting height etc.,so just wondered what people had done. 2.4 90 XS

Sorry mate i thought you meant Spot Lamps !

I have seen the rectangular ones mounted low underneath the bumper but as stated above they dont last long !

They do look quite good though ! DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN
