I put everything from under the seat between my seats on the bulkhead. Only the diff lock sensor cable has to be extended.
There are 2 versions off the engine ECU the old and the 'new' I believe there is no technical difference between the disco and Defender it's just the software. It depends on whether you have a 10p or 15p engine, and whether it’s an auto or manual. The ECU needs to match the engine but if you try to put, say, an auto Disco engine into a manual Defender you will need to change the ECU and have it coded to the Td5 injectors. There is loads on this if you Google it. Replacement ECUs are getting more and more expensive - perhaps up to £250 right now. You may be able to get some success if you talk to one of the site sponsors such as Gareth at Empire Tuning.
