Average summer temperature of Loch Lomond is less than 14C, it is filled by many streams that are mountain snow melt and is very very deep. I used to windsurf on the Loch mostly in a 5mm winter steamer Wetsuit even in summer, we had to have a very long calm spell or it was September/October Before I wore 3mm summer suit!
My neighbours have both an inflatable canoe and an inflatable SUP - the SUP is wider than the canoe so is more stable. 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!
