Hello Adammacky
When you say 'gloss' do you mean the base colour or the clear coat... If base colour, give the paint time to harden enough 24Hrs this is not its ultimate hardness but enough to key down locally with 1000 grit wet and dry (even 1200) the surface smoothness is what your aiming for as soon as you have this very lightly key the whole surface and give it a new top coat, starting in the damaged area with a ghost coat then one all over. When dry then finish with clear coat. So not starting again but it will feel like it... If clear coat, key again and really look close if you are down to the base colour then do the above if not then key very lightly the whole surface and apply a finish clear coat layer... you will be lucky if this this your fix. Oh and add another loose weight to your prop stand... SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |
