Just spotted this ad on ebay.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224023067326 Typical scam, one picture, second of an email address and bargain buy it now price, plus the seller listing the usual motor home, mini digger, etc all at prices to good to be true, but this one has 120 bids and is over £65k. Sadly the scam must work otherwise the bar stewards wouldn't go the the effort. Doesn't take many £5k windfalls to make it worthwhile 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Police called me once after someone had parted with 8k for my old camper that had been listed on Ebay by dirtbags. Still amazed that people part with cash so readily but did feel for them, that is a lot of money for anyone to lose.

These guys have everything for sale..campers,tractors,old bikes..what I do is enter into conversation with them, and insist they take cash..I will offer ten grand over asking,if they will take cash....I even copy the emails to the other stuff they have for sale...its a great past time.
Usually ends in a torrent of abuse, give it a try. |
