It's nothing difficult, remove the 4 fasteners from inside the cubby box and gently remove the sub. I think they were just bolts under the plastic caps. The electrical connections are on the face that mounts to the cubby, but you shouldn't have to disconnect anything.
Use the steel plate as a template to drill the holes in the new cubby from the outside, then refit it inside the box. |

Managed great outcome, as you stated no need to disconnected The only surprise was the replacement cubby box was slightly longer by 1.5 cm Cheers |

Yes, the subwoofer version of the cubby is slightly shorter. Strange how LR bothered to change things like this 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
