Always thought the DB5 was a bit of an old
maid.

Saw this parked at my local yesterday.

It’s the first Series 3 DB4 produced (from only 164 S3’s). Built in 1961 it was the original factory demonstrator, brochure and press car. Delicate styling, packed with provenance and probably about 25% £ of the DB5 above! JB

I think I once owned a car that smoked like that but didn't cost me £3m Whistle

Is it right they are not road legal?

That means a very long driveway is required or a shame it will never stretch its legs................. 2010 XS USW

Apparently it is not road legal but can be made so --- if you are playing that sort of money then maybe you can afford to have it tweaked for road use some how ...but I would have to be a big compromise.

As its not a restoration then I would imagine that they must comply with the latest road safety requirements and this would need a lot of work to do so - crumple zones, euro-spec engine emission requirements, high back seats, breaks etc etc ... not to mention the white and yellow number plates !

so an expensive toy to run round Goodwood circuit or an other suitable off road place ... but still its a dream for some one to buy ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html
