Is this it for real, as in the flesh?

Not that's been shown thus far.
Looks like someone has stretched a 90. |

That popped up on IG a week or so ago and I believe is just somebody's idea of what one could look like. Darren

Yes and as we know... Not really a commercial vehicle for all the allowances.... Have you seen the BIK charge on a D5 commercial if you're lucky enough to be in the 40% tax bracket.... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

Given that it has an aluminium monocoque I'd have thought it would be light enough to be a DPV and not subject to LGV speed limits. Does anyone know the unladen weight (nb not keen weight) of the new Defender?
I think the image in the first post actually looks almost half decent. Shame the real images look so ghastly! |

That is a very nice image of what could have been. Unfortunately its a bit like wishing for the Black Sabbath Paranoid album for Xmas and instead ending up with Now that's what I call Music 21.... |

If those genuinely are unladen weights rather than kerb weights then it will be reduced speed limits for the commercial, unless it is lighter. That's progress for you. |

If the info is correct ref the qualifying of the new commercial for BiK etc etc then JLR have missed a trick. I certainly won't be buying if it's not 100% commercial qualifying, can't justify those sort of costs. Looks like I'll be keeping my current 110 a bit longer 110 D250 SE HT
