I seem to have a seized piston yet again (probably due to lack of use) so will look at refurbished callipers with SS pistons. I did rebuild some callipers on an old Disco I had a few years back. but don't fancy doing it again! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Defender calipers do seem to suffer from not having the rubber bellows that expand out to protect the piston like on most modern cars. Means the piston is more exposed and corrodes sooner and when you push it back, it potentially drags a load of dirt and debris back into the bore unless you clean it thoroughly. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
