Swivel lubrication
Having recently purchased a 2009 110 I want to put fresh lubricants in throughout to establish my maintenance baseline. I have found clear information for specs of engine, axles, gearbox and txfr box oils, and how to drain and add the correct quantity. What I am unable to find is instruction for draining and checking the swivels, nor have I found the spec/quantity of the required lubricant. Can someone advise where I can find this info, please and thank-you.

they are lubricated with a "one shot" grease which is essentially CV grease,

As LR90XS2011 says it a one shot grease. 1 sachet per CV, the LR part number is STC3435. All the main suppliers have it, i.e. Bearmach etc but if you want the genuine LR then I found some on ebay.
The LR sachet has no specs on it and just says "High Temperature Grease 375ml". Its less viscous than most greases however.

You may find also your swivel housings in fact do not have drain plugs and only filler plugs. Not sure when the change point on the Puma's was. LR's idea is they are sealed for life Rolling Eyes My 2013 has no drain plugs and the only way I can see to swap the grease is to actually remove the swivel housing and CV completely... Then again the grease is supposed to be good for life providing it doesn't end up in the Diff or on the tarmac via the seals Rolling with laughter
