rubbing on the power steering res you mean, or thats where the tape is anyway
try self amalgamating tape over the hose thats damaged, then tie wrap and old bike inner tube around it for further protection. the pipes have quite a thick wall, the cords are halfway so if you can see cords, which islikely, then its not going to go bang anytime soon (if at all) Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Sorry, yes it's rubbing on the power steering reservior, just got two little grooves in it. I have wrapped it in the self sealing silicone tape, so I will take your advice and get an inner tube on there too! Excellent, thank you! |

I usually keep a few old hoses around so that if necessary I can cut a piece off one and use it to sleeve hoses, pipes, and cables etc., if I am worried about chafing.
