sorry to hear that but do you have business premises and qualify for rate relief??
if so then you will potentially receive £10K in April as a grant.......... https://www.gov.uk/government/publications...businesses |

Hi thanks for reply
No,no business premises ,got rid of an office 2 years ago and work from home as i have 2 garages i use for storage. Doesn't seem to be anything for us in the package at the moment Selling the truck will just provide peace of mind for now,no one will he paid indefinitely and i understand that ,there has to be production and sales otherwise the country is in for massive issues Stay safe and well all of you |

In a normal market I’d say 28-30k. However in this market it’s difficult to say. WBAC offered me 32k for mine 2 weeks back, today 21k...

I wouldn't even think about selling it now, unless desperate and prepared to take a huge loss.
We're heading into lock down, half the countries on short hours and no one has the foggiest how long this will last. Everyone's holding onto what cash they have for more important things like bills and food, who knows how bad things will get. Last thing on anyone's mind is a £20k car purchase, dealers are slashing their offers because they have forecourts full of expensive cars they ain't gonna shift anytime soon. Find another way to raise some funds, you will regret selling it now! |

But in the longer term you will actually benefit from a 'crash' as your fund can purchase more........ Markets should have all been suspended by now anyhows to stop all of this 'shorting' etc the feckwits are profiteering at |

Totally agree about the shorting. My pension is down circa 30%, I feel for those who were planning on retiring in the next few years.

My wife retires next week and I’ve now got no work.
Pension down at least 30% so won’t draw it down. I was looking for another defender two weeks ago. I wish you a quick and easy sale as we battle to get through. I hope everyone here stays well 👍 |
