Here is a picture of the security screws in my bonnet hinges. They seem to come loose now so need tightening.
What is name or type of those security screws and of the bits you need to tighten those screws? I guess you can buy those without too much difficulty, maybe even on amazon? As noted above, they are pin Torx, and unfortunately bits are so common that they are useless as a security measure. It's actually harder to buy solid Torx bits than it is pin Torx.

I got a Laser set off Amazon - 20 odd bits I think. Really decent quality.
I'm sure there are other good ones out there - but as has been said, there are PLENTY of gash ones too... (Speaking from bitter experience!) Actually, just looked. Laser 5031 - about £25 on Amazon. As I say, I'm sure there are other 'good' ones, and probably cheaper. |

Thanks everybody. Going to check where to find a decent set.

Indeed. A while ago I ordered a set of "security" door bolts. After replacing the first one I noted I had not used the "security" bit provided but a bit from my toolbox - which I then noticed was pin torx... Needless to say I removed the first and went the ball-bearing route instead... |
