alloy or plastic inter cooler
Just seen that my inter cooler has a split so looked in my stores and have found two inter coolers one with a alloy end which is were the split is and one with the same end as mine in plastic are the alloy ones a up grade ,I have a 2012 2.2 puma.

I had the same problem Legin, picked up a second hand one, which has the ali end cap and no problems since.

Another instance of someone value engineering a product Rolling Eyes 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone
2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone
2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW

Thanks Rosco I will go with the alloy ended one looking on this and other forums a lot of other owners have purchased a upgrade intercoolers but I'm happy with mine as it is ,I have the a Alive 170 BHP chip which was probably the cause of the split in the first place .
