Dyson pulls plug on his new vehicle
Just heard on the evening news that Sir James Dyson has pulled the plug on his BEV - product level/ demand to low to be viable. He was going to build it in Singapore. I wonder how this might affect The Grenadier also being a low volume vehicle. OK Jim Ratcliffe is a wealthier man than James Dyson but vehicle production has to be a viable proposition.
BTW please excuse the pun on Dyson pulling the plug, couldn’t help it. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Anyone remember the Santa PS-10 that was made in Spain. It did come into the UK but did not exactly take off and suffered huge depreciation. Trying to sell a Defender look a like did not help in my opinion - will the Grenadier go the same way?

To be fair, the PS-10 took the basic Defender design backwards (leaf springs!) whereas Grenadier should take it forwards. Darren

Yes! Looks worse even than the Classic Defender (ie pre-Puma dash as that One I like) dash. Nothing wrong with the New Defender’s dash - but I reserve judgement on that until I have drowned one......... Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

EV News Daily (at 🏠) (@EVNewsDaily) Tweeted:
James Dyson has talked about his shuttered EV project for the Sunday Times #richlist today. As far as I know we’ve never seen these pics before?

It’s a stunner. 600 miles range with Dyson’s lithium ion batteries. But would have cost £150k to make a profit. https://t.co/gkiOCyalAa https://twitter.com/EVNewsDaily/status/1261933388170170368?s=20
