had a similar problem with my 90 td5 turned out to be a front wheel bearing seized which made the t/c come on. hope this helps. Phil |

Thanks I'll check it out . The r/hand bearing seems ok. It has been suggested that the wear of the rear pads has caused a fault code to develop disengaging it and the problem is with the left front and the system is trying to compensate by applying the front right! Maybe your bearing problem is on the left side. It does seem strange that completely isolating the abs system did not stop the binding though. I'll check it out and post any findings for future ref. Hi just aquick note re earlier post. I have replaced rotors padsseals etc front and rear brake locking has gone. The only prob I could see was that the champher on the front pads were all mixed up(installed by lr dealer previous owner). Ken from Melb suggested that this could have caused pistons to tilt in the caliper bores as the pads wore. He may have been right Worth considering if you have similar prob. Steve P
