Just been and watched those new interviews, some tantalising glimpses of prototypes. They are certainly making all the right noises 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Just watched the piece by Mark Evans (him off a 4x4 is born) and it sounds like they'll be having regular updates.
Agree with you Bluest, making the right noises, but where will the price tag end up? 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

I’d be willing to bet it ends up not that much cheaper than where a new a Defender starts, but not going to be anything like as high as you go up the range. Very different prospect from a Defender though, I’m sure it will be a close rival to 70 series ‘Cruiser.
Did you watch the short interview Mark conducted with the customer relationship woman? I’m really chuffed to have been one of the 140 or so that was invited to look at a VR version of the car last year and give feedback. I told her it should cost between £35 and £40k base price, but it would probably be too cheap really for something so heavy duty. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |

The fact the have associated themselves with Belstaff tells me they are going for a premium retail price point

I think you will find the Belstaff link up is coz Jim Ratcliffe (Mr Ineos) also owns Belstaff. Obviously marketing tie up really.
