What the hell is wrong with some people?
What the hell is wrong with some people?

Reading the news feeds today I was shocked to discover what has been happening since lockdown.

Teenagers deliberately coughing in old people’s faces

Teenagers licking food items in supermarkets

Deliberately setting fire to delivery vans Iceland and Asda

Farmers being beaten half to death because they have asked walkers in the Peak district to leave and go home

People phoning 999 because they have run out of Crisps and beer

Pharmacists facing terrible abuse

Then we have some of the pubs instead of shutting are having private lockins of up thirty people

Jesus I despair. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Rather than focus on the small number of idiots, let's praise the overwhelming majority who are doing absolutely the right things.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Of course, you are right Martin. But at the same time, it is sometimes didactic to be informed as to the lengths some of our more feral citizens are behaving in what should be a time when we are all coming together to help. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

And then the army to help police, as the message of isolation or not mixing in groups is still not getting through to some. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Was reported in the York press today that the police were moving on families having picnics on the race course today. The mind really boggles, what don’t they get? Rolling Eyes

We should take the opportunity whilst all of the d**kheads are gathered together outside to nerve gas the morons (says the compassionate health care professional).

Very Happy Laughing

I thought that was a nice turn of phrase - made me laugh. And, I do tend to agree. Maybe we can hope there's something Darwinian or Malthusian at work - if only it would happen without an additional burden on the NHS at this time. Donald

Dare I say it (and not meaning to give any offence or excuses for the idiots) we in this country are not used to death as a society.

Death is something most people see through a Hollywood film, and then see the same actor in the next movie.

CNN and Sky news show disasters and wars around the world but show only broken buildings, not broken bodies so not to cause offence or risk complaints.

People pass away behind closed doors (hospital, care home) not in view of neighbours. having sat with both parents for their last 24 hrs it is certainly not like the Walton's or any other TV show. I'll leave that there.

Until these people lose friends and families it will never hit home because death only happens to someone else, not directly affecting their lives.

The law and with the backing of the army has to go in hard, but fare, we cannot appear to be like a communist country.

Our troops must also be given the assurance that their judgement is final and that there is not a bleeding heart lawyer waiting to pounce in ten years time.

Stay safe all.

From what I have seen In my own family it seems to be the young & elderly that feel the rules don’t apply to them!

My Mum & Dad are in their 70s, I phoned them yesterday to ask if they needed anything “no thanks love, we have got to pop to the chemist tomorrow, we can get some shopping then”
Me “ but your not supposed to be going out”
Mum “but it’s Tuesday & we always go for lunch with Christine & David on a Tuesday,
Me “Mum everywhere is shut & you shouldn’t be going out!”
Mum “ I know love,,,,,, so we are going to their house for a sandwich”
Me Aaaaahhhhhh!

So today I Managed to convince them not to go out & went & stood outside the chemist for half an hour to pick up their prescriptions
Popped Round to drop them off,
Mum “you coming in for a cuppa & some cake?”
Me ,,,ummmm cake “err no thanks mum I won’t come in, where is Dad?”
Mum “ oh he is next door giving Geoff a hand fitting new gutters on his garage”
Me “AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

In the other age bracket my 25 yr old step daughter is adamant that she is driving from North Wales to Newcastle this weekend to see her boyfriend!
Despite Me & everyone else inc Boris telling her not to travel & stay at home!
That is causing some rows I can tell you!

They live among us!
