Original, the pattern cable I fitted needed replacing within a few months. It had stretched so much it was pretty much useless. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

12 months ago I replaced the handbrake cable on my 2004 TD5 110 Defender. Replacement I used was a Bearmach. Absolutely fine so far.

I replaced mine with an britpart item as I needed it quickly about 2 years ago and it’s been fine. (Touch wood)
