Painting callipers
I want to tidy mine up and give them a coat of black paint. Is there any trick to the process due to heat generated or can I just give them a bit of buzzweld primer and paint?

You could use heat-resistant spray paint ("stove paint") - goes up to 600 degrees C. Not sure that's necessary though... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
