Small Drone (DJI Spark) anyone have one
Hello

I have a DJI Phantom drone and to be honest very rarely use it as it takes up too much room.

I'm looking at a DJI spark with the fly more pack.

Much easier to take with me and camera built in.

I'm not looking at a 4k or singing all dancing one just a basic one I'm sure will be fine. I'm looking on e-bay and they seem to be around £300 with the extra batteries and Hand set

Anyone have one? any comments? good / bad

Thanks

Have you considered the DJI Mavic mini? (FWIW, I have one, quite pleased with it) “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.

+1 for the Mavic Mini.
I got the Fly More combo just before Christmas for £405 (with a special offer for £50 off 1st spend) from Very.
The Mini doesn't have all the fancy collision avoidance sensors, etc, but the video & still images are excellent and it is a really small unit, so easy to transport.

Looked at the spark recently but in drone terms it's old.
Definitely the mini now.

I have looked at the Mavic mini...

I do like the safety features on the Spark though.

Do you have any clips from the Mavic?

We use a mavic air when out n about , great for chucking up quickly for video & a quick photo, also have an inspire 2 for the more planned events, needless to say the results between the two are night n day
Started off with a phantom, I know what you mean, as it doesn’t fold down for quick easy transportation My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years.

We use Mavic 2 Zoom's in our line of work and a single Inspire 2 but the Zoom gets the most use as it's more stable than the Inspire imho.

The mini isn't quite there in collecting image quality, but i've not used one myself, just on the general blurb online.

Thanks all

I'm going for the Spark as I can get one fairly cheap off a friend.

The quality will already be better than my phantom with a 'no-pro' camera

The size is so much smaller....

I do like the collision sensors that the mavic mini does not have.....yet.

Hopefully I can provide some feedback when I start using it.
