Seat belt replacement?
My drivers belt has frayed along one edge due to it coming into contact with velcro on coats/it was crap to start with and it's been mullered by being shut in the door catch innumerable times. I've 'welded' it with a lighter in the past, but that's not very clever.

I don't know whether it's an MOT fail, but rather than chance it I might as well put in a new one.

Does anyone know the part number please? It's a 2013 Puma. (I'm confused by all of the options - all I need is the long belt section)

Just saying '2013 Puma' isn't enough. There are variations depending upon variant. I bought one from Famous Four. Previously I bought an OEM version - bit of a pain as the cover wouldn't fit over the spool.

I think for a 110 SW or USW the part number for the right-hand front seat belt is EVB500820PMA (the belt is quite different for vehicles without second-row doors such as a 90 or 110 full hardtop).

Expect to pay around £160 to £170 for a new genuine belt.

And as a comparison my re-web was £34 ex vat - and of course it retains the original hardware so could be considered original

You might want to look at the TMD red ones too, that may or may not be your cup of tea but I thought I'd put the idea out there anyway.
Genuine are very pricey indeed, just for one on its own. No Guts, No Glory.

Thanks all!

Flippin eck! How much? How can that price be justified?

I’ll look at those other options. Might send it for repair.

I got an aftermarket one from Exmor trim

Did the job - the reel is slightly too large for the cover to fit easily but with some fettling should be fine
(talking about front row seatbelt on a Puma)

Went for this as was around £60 compare to £170 for original

AF factors who is a sponsor here can supply original or aftermarket
