2002 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Keswick Green

Whilst i have been commuting a lot recently I bought a £300 Peugeot 206 HDi, cost £30 to tax it for the year and does 60-70mpg. Insurance cost a couple of hundred quid.

Its great, don't care about where I park it, no one is going to steal it and use it to take stuff to the tip at the weekends!

Might be worth checking your sums again, that amount of cash doesn't go far in diesel in the Defender. I have spent about £300 on parts since I bought it (tyres/clutch etc) but I have done about 14k in it now.
