Rear quarter light guards tight fit
I have sourced a couple of rear quarter window guards and was attempting to fit yesterday afternoon but both sides are a really tight fit and I cannot fit them in without them bowing, has anybody else experienced this. I think they must be old mantec ones as the mesh is the same size as my existing rear window guard. They are about 3/4mm too big and the next step is to cut off the bottom bracket and look at another way to secure them as this bottom bracket extends down a few MM from the main mesh part unless somebody else has a better idea. The guards in the picture are not mine but the bottom fixing is the same as mine and you can see how these also extend beyond the bottom of the grille.

Not sure what make mine are, but needed a little assistance from a hacksaw and the trim still doesn't fit properly.

Worst thing in the world to fit!

I offered mine up and everything was perfect... actually fitting them and getting the trim back on was another story! Rolling with laughter

After many, many hours of trying I took it to CSK to do Laughing
