What is so easily forgotten/ignored by the media, is the effect on the person who found him. We (as westernised humans) are so distanced from death now, that it’s rare for most people to ever see a dead body in their lifetime. Rarer still to see the dead body of a stranger having suffered catastrophic injuries. Once seen, it can never be unseen. Hopefully that person doesn’t suffer too badly with it. But he/she will be one of hundreds per year who are almost ignored when they witness a violent death. Oh well...  Monsieur Le Grenadier
