Went for a drive/patrol yesterday and managed to break down.

Engine just randomly cut out but was cranking well. Presumably oil interfering with the ECU (have found traces of oil on the plugs). Managed to get it going again (well the AA did).

Also found a fallen tree on a local byway. Managed to drag it enough out of the way to get around it.

We drove up to the Lakes yesterday, birthday treat for me, lots of tree debris on the Ullswater road from the A66 also the lake was washing across the road which I hadn’t seen before, luckily the hotel was pretty high up
