Hello
Just after a small inflator to keep in boot with other kit? Will something like this pump up Defender tyres or do I need something more heavy duty? It will save me using my bike foot pump !! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ring-RAC620-Analo...mp;sr=8-72 Click image to enlarge Thanks |

Click image to enlarge The TMax is quite popular with Defender owners. Comes in two sizes Much more expensive than the ring thought at £70 for the smaller one |

I've had two of the cheap units, first one read pressure correctly which prevented it from inflating above 0.5 bar and second failed to work after a the second time I used it. Maybe it was bad luck, but I'd say for the price it was to be expected.

I have the TMax but its a PITA to dismantle the passenger seat to get to the battery every time you want to pop a bit of air in your tyres.
I now use a Clark JumpStart with compressor - just as good and "wireless" too!! https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/jump-start-910-cw-12v-compressor/ |

I killed a few of the various "cheap" units with land rover, trailer and van tyres.
Tried to justify an ARB, ended up with the big T-Max, and very happy with it! Put an anderson connector on it, and have andersons front and rear in the truck so that I don't have to dismantle the seat! |

I've used a cheapy one for years, work well just very slow. I changed it for an auto cut off so at least you can leave it to it. Works very well. Even has a little light which is useful. James
