I there!
I already finished to repair the heater fan control: one of the cable clips supports were broken (Cable 1 in the picture) After put all in place appear that I mixup some of the cables or something that control the vent dampers. I can get air in the windscreen and in the foot but not in the round blowers. Some of you remember the order of the 2 cables labeled red and yellow (cable 3 and 4 in the picture)? As far as I can see in the picture that I took yellow should be cable 3 and red the cable 4 is that correct? Or Ive missing another thing? ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Thanks! Well,
A follow up of the problem: Both cables are correctly located, so keep in mind the diagram when work in the area. Red one change the position from the windscreen to the front. As far as I can see when I turn the knob the gears located in the heater noves correctly (see the picture). ![]() Click image to enlarge So, the only posibility is that something is broken in the heater interiorand the damper doesnt move. Anyone with a similar problem? Should be possible to repair or I need the complete piece? (The complete heater cost more than 300 GBP and is working fine except for that.) My other concern the access to the heater: I need to dismantle all the fascia. It's a complex work or can be done in a weekend with normal tools? Cheers!
