Screeching Brake problem
Almost 8yrs old now and managed past on original shoes. All corners now have new shoes with no issues except passengers rear. Squealing it’s head off but only as car approaches stopping point. WHY? Iv never ever had braking issues and as shown I keep all corners immaculate and free of dust. The pic shows the rust mark clearly showing the pad not contacting the disc flat and full face. Hmmm? Iv stripped the shoes out twice, no grease or oil contamination so why the high pitch squealing?
Is the disc warped and the problem ?

Cheers

Keith

Put grease on the back of the pads where they fit in the callipers and rest against the piston. Usually the squeal is caused by vibration of the pads, the grease will stop it hopefully Hold my beer and watch this!

Yep! Pad backs are greased always and pistons in working order.
