Friend of mine is confirmed positive for it. Says he feels like he’s been hit by a bus.

He’s a strong fit bloke too.

Glad he lives 50 mile away. Razz

This is unprecedented, it’s unknown times ahead, I just hope everyone stays safe and is sensible in taking simple precautions like hand washing and think about keep distance from other to try and prevent the spread of this. My thoughts and thanks go out to nursing staff the world over dealing with this especially those with families. Thankyou in this country to the NHS Bow down

yeah things are very rocky now and I think we are going into the un known this year, There is a case of it near to where I live, so its un the sunderland area now. One of the lasses who works where my mum works, her other half had symptoms of it, so they sent her home. One lad I used to work with has gone into self isolation, he has bad cold or something a long those lines. So he isn't taking any chances. Only a matter of time, some one will bring it into where i work, and i think the production will come to a stand still.
Only a matter of time I think for us all now, when we catch it sadly Sad
Take care of your selves and familys fellas! and keep washing hands etc. Thumbs Up

Cant be confirmed as there is nothing being said about it........reckon most places are simply being over cautious

I have to say that I am really, really pxssxd off.

After two years of stress and worry, and living with a wife who is divorcing me, she finally moved out and I became "free" on 27th February.

Was really looking forward to at last being able to go out, meet people and socialise, after a prolonged period of isolation.

And now?

Always impossible to say, because of the different and labourious methods of recording deaths, but some estimates say more soldiers died of the Spanish Flu whilst on active service, than were killed. Sobering. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Our little town has had to bite the bullet and shut down the ski areas, as required under the new French directives. Here is a clip pistes taken at about midday yesterday. It was glorious and normally this run would be packed. Surreal. Shocked

HEY, everybody,....don't worry about anything that happened "in the past",....this is NOW,...we need to come to terms that we've never ever had to contend with anything like this,.....Health is most important, IMHO anyway, but the economic ramifications will affect EVERYONE with respect to lost jobs, loss of superannuation income etc etc etc,......BUT, be VERY AWARE, this will affect everyone,.....maybe except those whose only income is your Govt Pension, BUT then again, if the Govt runs out of dollars,....what will your fate be?.....Think about it.
Pickles.
