Nut caps for towbar?

Just fitted my towbar and it's come with a few plastic nut covers to hide the heads, problem is they don't stay on! What have you lot done to hold them on? I considered a tiny blob of glue but if I ever need to take it off it might be hard lol
Any suggestions??? 2009 Defender County Hard Top (gone 😞)

2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

Blob of silicone sealent might do the trick and you'd still get them off if needed.
