With HD springs on the front, and (not that you mention) no nudgebar, winch etc, then i'd expect a 1" lift.
TBH, with HD's on the front and no extra weight, the handling is a bit skitty. personally, either go for some OME's (764's rear,or 763's if you want something heavier) and (i think) its 755 on the front? or just get some factory springs. standard on front and some 90 HD's on the back. along with some decent gas dampers (again, i'm a fan of OME) you can't go wrong. factory springs are pretty good. dampers are average though. |

Yep, I have no weight up front and am happy with the ride height there and I would say it is slightly lifted. The handling seems fine as I have a set of Koni Raid adjustable shocks and they are lovely.
The rear is HD and carries some weight (see below) and sits much lower. I really need the HD spring, but want to get my ride height sorted out. Maybe I need a +1" HD spring for the rear or a 1" spacer under the spring seat to get it level? |

I have a set of iron man springs (the "B" version) which would suit that without any problem. they're 20% stiffer than standard springs and lift it by a touch over an inch, but with heavy load it sits level. the ride is also excellent. I'll be putting them up for sale on the board on monday along with a set of OME shocks.

Could you PM me with details so I can have first refusal? I am not able to access a computer from when I go to bed until I get home at night about 1945. Would like to know a bit more about the spring rates etc. Alternatively, would be great if I could give you a call to discuss. PM me if you can.
Thanks Adam |

Mike Could you tell me where you got your Iron Man springs from please ? Just fitting a winch and bumper to my 110 and I think the extra 60kgs up front may call for some upgraded springs ! Thanks in advance Bob PS Google does not give anything meaningful ! |

If you are happy with the ride, just not the height, use Gwyn Lewis packers under the springs. When I used to run OE springs I used 1" packers.

Thanks Andy.
Ride is fine at present but I think the height is going to suffer. I have a First Four tubular bumper on at the moment but that is being replaced with a Terrafirma tubular winch bumper plus a SW Talon 9.5sr. Total weight of the bumper plus winch is 60kg so about 40kg more than present. Just nipping over to Gwyns site Bob |

bob, take a look at the iron man site, it shows you the range, B springs will most likely be fine for you and if andy doesnt have mine then you can be next in line if you wish.
