..air shut off valve..
..hi guys..i came across these valves (12V) https://www.amot.com/pub/media/product_spe...2_rev6.pdf , and im wondering, is there such kit ready to go with defenders??

Not specifically. Whilst it's not impossible for it to happen to a Defender, there is usually the option to stall it. That valve looks like it's intended for much larger applications where that might not be practical. Darren

Those valves appear to be mitigation against environmental factors rather than the more common issue with diesel engines running on after being switched off.

We used to have to fit Chalwyn valves to the intakes of fire engines for use in petro-chem or munitions installations.

I'd have thought a bit of regular or preventative maintenance on a normal Defender would be cheaper....
