Just been googling that.. seems like there’s 3 fuse boxes .. under bonnet ( engine stuff) glove box. ?? And boot ..
Trying to find glove box stuff first as I’m guess that’s closest.

I hate electrics 😡😡

Glove box will be where its at. Engine is normally related to engine stuff and high power with boot usually towing and sound system. Ed

So,
After a not very cost effective week in Vegas I can no longer afford for someone to do the work for me.
I have eventually found wiring info and am currently making progress on that.

Quick question, and probably a stupid one. Could I make the frame as per Bankz pics on 1st page out of aluminium box ? Is there rules and regs ?
Only asking as there’s a load of 25mmx25mm x2.5mm laying around at work. I would obviously use steel spreaders at mounting points .

safety is most important.. even if it is a defender 😂

Cheers

O right ? Would it be ok for Mr MOT man then ? Thought there may have been rules, and the ally wouldn’t be strong enough ?

Thanks

Think about it.

How are defender front seats held in? 4 m8 rivnuts into 1.5mm ali sheet. Thats it.

Seats dont hold you in a crash, seatbelts do. Instagram @defender_ventures

Lol
As soon as I sent my last message I thought of the front seats.
Good point . Well made Thumbs Up

On the rob at work tonight then
Don’t suppose you remember what lengths you used for your rear frame. If ok I will use yours as a rough template.
Thanks

Shocked - at least on a 300Tdi they're not. It's M8 bolts into a spreader plate that's riveted in place underneath the aluminium.

If they're rivnuts on newer vehicles then it confirms my suspicion that the build quality of Defenders took a drastic dive after the 300Tdi. Ed
