“Breathing” from oil filler
If I open the oil filler cap with the engine running, there is air blowing out? Is this a sign of something bad like injector seal failure, or could it be just normal (fingers crossed)? Engine is running fine. Off to Spain in it in a few weeks and really don’t want a big repair job before I go Sad 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

To my knowledge all these engines do that. As long it is not blowing grayish exhaust gases I would not be concern.

I have been trying to find some hard data about blowby flow about these engines. No luck yet. Puma 110" SW

That's somewhat reassuring. Apart from a VCV issue now resolved its running as well as ever, so hopefully nothing sinister. I didn't notice any fumed. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

But, I would keep an eye (if that is possible) on those injector seals. Not sure how long they last or if the clamping bolts have not stretched, etc Puma 110" SW
