To my knowledge all these engines do that. As long it is not blowing grayish exhaust gases I would not be concern.

That's somewhat reassuring. Apart from a VCV issue now resolved its running as well as ever, so hopefully nothing sinister. I didn't notice any fumed. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

But, I would keep an eye (if that is possible) on those injector seals. Not sure how long they last or if the clamping bolts have not stretched, etc Puma 110" SW

They can last a long time - mine have lasted 17 years and 275,000 miles.so far.
