Funnily enough I did see that one. I was planning on doing a post about restoring them a little. Plasticote/repairing the crack.

A bit off topic
But if you do a thread on how to restore one that’d be great My A bar is looking a bit rough and could do with the shiny coating being restored In some spots it just looks like black foam with none of the “hard” coating on it I would have been scared that the fumes from Plasticote could damage the foam🤷🏻♂️ My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |

I sanded mine to get rid of the rough. Minimal amount of flexible filler across the top part (worst part) to get in the holes, primer and then plasticoted. Looks like new. S |

I have just removed my soft A bar today and no longer want/need it, its great condition, the holding brackets need removing from my bumper still though, send me an email address and i can send you some pics, only just signed up to the forum so cant send you a PM atm. Let me know, thanks, Adam.

Ok, I'm still looking. It seems like I was a little confused about which versions I can get away with.
I'm after the version without the lower crossbar as I want to fit it on a winch. |
