I purchased one of these from dorsetsmith last year as a 'back up' should it be needed
(really well put together with good quality components, so well done Thumbs Up )

I've changed the Fuel Filter 7 times on my 2.4 and had the Fuel Tank out twice.

Priming the Fuel Filter has to-date has always prevented any air entering the system
(or at least to a point where no issues have resulted)

I too just replace fuel filter by topping the new one with diesel - never had an issue. But useful tool to have "just in case".
