| Expedition Prep On A Brand New Black Hardtop!!! | |
Was at Douglass Motors today getting first MOT (five days late because I forgot about it  ) and sat outside was a brand spanking new Black 90 Hard top, dash out, seats out, no grille or bumper, cables strewn all over the place and a pile of goodies in the shop to die for including..... ARB diff locker, winch and bumper, split charge battery system, Lightforce lights, storage lockers to be mounted in the rear etc...etc...Already fitted was roof rack, snorkel, chequerplate, four roof mounted lights, a rear LED working light, light grilles, ladder, head lining console, etc...etc...
Apparently the intended owner is a lorry driver from up north, (well everywhere's up north from the South Coast!  ) intends to go to Morrocco next year, drives his vehicles 'hard' and is having all the modifications embodied on a brand new vehicle so it's ready to go!!!
Way to go fella!!! Was wondering if it's anyone on here?
Black it is!!! When I mentioned the colour apparently the whole project was a 'non-starter' unless it was black! Stipulated by his missus!! 
For anyone that may be interested my vehicle passed it's MOT with no advisories, big sticky out boots (not as big as Fekete's or Big Steve's), decat etc...etc... Happy days!  If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
